Rishikesh Diaries.......
Pack Yourself a toothbrush dear...
Pack yourself a favorite shirt...
Take a withdrawal slip...
Take all of your savings out..
A song from The Lumineers.. Do listen to it..
The lyrics is magical..
A trip to Rishikesh, where the water is green, the hills are greener and the shimmering white sand..
This Place is magical..
"Bungee Jumping! Cliff Climbing! Rock Climbing! Flying Fox! Rappelling! are things which makes it more fascinating.
The white water rafting is the heart of Rishikesh which started back in the 1990's by a group of young enthusiasts who had seen it foreign places. The apt month for the rafting is march when the temperature is moderate and the level of water in the river is apt and the rapids are beautiful..
Even the train journey is scenic.
I sometime wonder why God didn't give us wings, coz he wanted to gives us the pleasure of train journeys.. the most beautiful stories come with it
"Rishikesh Railway Station" Scenic and mesmerizing..
"To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about the places they haven't been to."
" We lose sight of things many a times... and when we travel, everything just balances accordingly"
"LAXMAN JHULA"
Stand in the middle and feel the breeze.. Lookout for monkies...
Narrow it may seem, but beautiful it is....
The Monkey i was talking about...
The moment when you just smile for the foreigner and about her reviews to her mates back in her country...
" I used to wonder how it would be to live in a wooden house in the middle of wilderness,
the reality was much better than the imagination."
Built Beautifully at a scenic place "Kodayala" 40kms from Rishikesh towards Devprayag
No one will ever be able to click this again for the same river can never have the same current again...
i remember one of my favorite line..
"No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man."
"No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man."
Just outside my room.... believe me nothing has ever been more peaceful than this..
Sit by a river, even the hush sound of river will make you feel calm..
Let the river run, let it talk. once more and forever...
"into the night i loved her..
into the night i waited under clear sky..
into the night i remembered her looking upto the stars..
of a time which flew of my hands..."
"Me, my tripod and my Dslr... makes up for this click..."
"Plumbeous Water Redstart" a Terrestrial bird
"It's a cold morning, with cold winds, full of bird's cires"
"Up for the rafting first day 24kms..."
The first river you paddle runs through the rest of your life. It bubbles up in pools and eddies to remind you who you are- Lynn Noel
The Rapids are waiting for you.... Believe you, me to hit the rapid at the right time is an awesome experience..
a click for the cover...
"The house he lives in is a very abrupt, uneven place, full of hills and woods and yes the birds too"
Trekking is always fun...
The cliche is that the life is like a mountain. You go up, reach the top and then you go down...
"Greater Cormorant" A water bird...
"In order to the birds it is necessary for us to be the part of silence."
"The monstrous Landslide"
You can't ask for everything from the mountains.. it's a two way thing..
You can't ask for everything from the mountains.. it's a two way thing..
"The Bumpy, shaky ride...
"Looks picturesque .. the DevPrayag in midst of two rivers...
i feel i m short of words to describe the beauty of this place.. Keep it you Bucket list...
The freshness is amazing..
The freshness is amazing..
the two rivers meet..
while the river glides down smoothly, it changes and gets polluted..
Here it is just pure and the landscape adds to the beauty...
Here it is just pure and the landscape adds to the beauty...
"It looks as if each one us has tried making this sketch on our drawing books once.."
"A sunset is the sun's fiery kiss to the night"
one of the best sunsets i have witnessed.... into the mountains..
You get guys around a campfire, and the stories starts creeping out..
A point near Rishkesh.. 25ft jump...
the fear of water will die once and for all...
"The Laxman Jhula is visible and also the river changes it's color...
No longer it is green and pure..
If the sun don't shine on me today...
And if the subways flood and bridges break..
Will you lay yourself down and dig your grave...
Or will you rail against your dying day...
Listen to this beautiful song and yes if you like this Picto-blog do share it...
